If you replace the battery of iPhone XS or above, whether it is a genuine battery or a third-party repair battery, you will see the message "Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery" and "Health information not available for this battery" on the iPhone ( As shown in the figure below), it means that the battery in the device cannot be verified as a genuine product, and the maximum capacity will not display the percentage.

Data Recovery Test

 

We tried to read the battery serial number and other data through the JC battery test instrument and write it into the battery to be replaced. The result still is"Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery" and "maximum capacity will not display the percentage." on the iPhone.

  

  

Operation Method

  

Step 1. Remove the genuine battery protection board and keep the protection board.

   

Step 2. Remove the battery protection board that needs to be replaced, and retain the battery cell.

  

Step 3. Solder two soldering pins with a 2.7V 500F capacitor, and use a fully charged capacitor to re-solder the genuine protection board and the battery cell that needs to be replaced.

  

 

Step 4. Put it into the cell phone battery compartment to test.

  

 

 

Conclusion: The phone no longer prompts "Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery" and the battery display the health percentage.
